Titov handed domestic ban

Yegor Titov will miss six months of domestic action following a ban imposed by the Football Union of Russia.

Decision today
The decision was taken today by the control and disciplinary body of the RFS and the suspension runs from 22 January-22 June, meaning that Titov will miss half of the Russian domestic season.

UEFA ban
In January, Titov was banned from all UEFA competition matches for one year after testing positive for the banned substance bromantan. The 27-year-old was tested after the UEFA EURO 2004™ qualifying play-off first leg against Wales in Moscow on 15 November.
