Members

Walter Baseggio ensured RSC Anderlecht extended their lead in the Belgian First Division standings.

Walter Baseggio's late winner ensured RSC Anderlecht extended their advantage at the top of the Belgian First Division courtesy of a 3-2 home defeat of KSK Beveren.

Runaway leaders
Constant Kaiper put the visitors ahead in the 25th minute and it took the runaway league leaders until the 66th to equalise through Aruna Dindane. Ndri Romaric hauled the hosts level again but goals from Oleg Iachtchouk and Baseggio secured the points. Second-placed R. Standard de Liège fell further behind the pace, only managing a 1-1 draw against K. Lierse SK.

Paas double
R. Excelsior Mouscron, meanwhile, replaced KRC Genk in third place with a 3-1 defeat of a team who, at the start of play, were a position above them. They had German hat-trick hero Luigi Pieroni to thank for all of their goals. Fifth-placed Club Brugge KV demolished last placed R. Antwerp FC 4-0, with Gert Verheyen, Nastja Ceh, Víctor de Oliveira and Andrés Mendoza on target.  KVC Westerlo, in sixth, sauntered to a 3-0 defeat of Sint-Truidense VV.

Euvrad leveller
Mohamed Camara and Kristof Snelders scored to allow mid-table KFC Germinal Beerschot to beat Cercle Brugge KSV 2-1 while a second-half equaliser from Vincent Euvrad was enough for K. Heusden-Zolder to collect a point at home against KAA Gent. Second bottom R. Charleroi SC fought out a 2-2 draw with RAA Louviéroise, with Thibaut Detal burying the vital leveller late on. KSC Lokeren OV and RAEC Mons cancelled each other out in a scoreless draw.
