Serbia and Montenegro midfield player Igor Duljaj has left FK Partizan to sign a five-year contract with FC Shakhtar Donetsk.

Vukcevic chance
The 25-year-old international has moved to Ukraine in a transfer worth €3m and has already flown out to Barcelona to join the club at their training camp before the season restarts next month. To fill the gap, Partizan have handed a five-year contract to 18-year-old youth team midfield player Simon Vukcevic.

'Highest ambitions'
Duljaj, who has been with Partizan since he was 14 and has been capped 21 times, said: "I found out about the Shakhtar offer 24 hours ago and now I am already a member of the team. It will not be easy to leave my parents and the only club I have played for, but I knew this moment would come sooner or later. It is all part of my job. I know where I am going. Shakhtar are a club with the highest ambitions."
