Nadj staying with Partizan

Albert Nadj has signed a new one-and-a-half year contract at Serbo-Montenegrin champions FK Partizan.

Back at first club
Nadj rejoined the club he began his senior career with in December 2002 from Real Oviedo after a six-year spell in Spanish football. Capped 18 times by the former Yugoslavia, 29-year-old Nadj played four times in Partizan's UEFA Champions League Group F campaign, where they ended in fourth place.

No dilemma
"I did not have a dilemma," said Nadj, who has played more than 100 times for the Belgrade side. "Partizan is my club and I want to give them more success. The Champions League was the greatest experience of in my career, and I want to do it again. Another domestic title is our duty and I believe in success."

Brebner ruled out
Meanwhile, Scottish side Hibernian FC have lost midfield player Grant Brebner after he dislocated a shoulder and broke an arm in their 2-0 Scottish Cup defeat by holders Rangers FC on Saturday after falling awkwardly following a tackle.

'A major blow'
Hibernian manager Bobby Williamson said: "It is a major blow for the player and also the team as Grant is our most experienced midfielder. He's dislocated his shoulder and broken a bone in his upper arm, so I do not know when we can expect him back in the team."

Ilic joins Vitesse
Dutch side SBV Vitesse have signed Aleksandar Ilic from Belgian leaders RSC Anderlecht on a free transfer. The Serbo-Montenegrin ends a six-year spell in Belgium, which has included three seasons with Club Brugge KV, and has agreed a one-and-a-half year contract with the Arnhem club, with the option for a further 12 months.
