Busy time for Belgian leaders

Members

RSC Anderlecht have lost Yves Vanderhaeghe for at least a month but have also had some positive news.

Serious injury
Veteran midfield player Vanderhaeghe suffered a broken jaw in Sunday's 2-0 victory at R. Antwerp FC. The break is in five places and medical staff are not certain when the 33-year-old will be fit enough to return. It is a bitter blow for Vanderhaeghe who had just recovered from a knee injury that kept him out for six months.

Plenty of interest
Positive news for the Belgian league leaders came with the signing of Gislason to a two-and-a-half year contract. The 15-year-old winger, already an Iceland Under-17 international, had been with the club since October and had attracted attention from across the continent.

Doll staying
Finally, Anderlecht have revealed that 30-year-old defender Olivier Doll will not be leaving in the transfer window, despite the fact his contract is up in the summer. The club are said to be negotiating new deals, however, for attackers Ivica Mornar and Ki-Hyeon Seol.
