FC Slavia Mozyr have parted company with coach Vladimir Kurnev and replaced him with Andrey Sosnicky.
Revolving door
The 41-year-old Sosnicky will be the third person to take charge of the club in five months after Kurnev was brought in to replace Alexandr Pryazhnikov in August. The club decided to relieve Kurnev of his duties after they just avoided relegation from the Belarussian top flight in the 2003 season.
Up for challenge
Sosnicky is a former Slavia player who worked for the club as assistant coach between 1999 and 2001. He followed that with a two-year spell in charge of FC Dinamo Brest but has been out of work since August. "It's definitely going to be a hard task but I'm going to make it work," said Sosnicky.
