Article body
No wins
The loss meant that Partick, in last place in the Scottish Premier League, have picked up just two points from 14 matches this season and are yet to win a game. Coaching assistant Bobby McCulley was also given his marching orders.
Management reshuffle
Collins only took the job after a management reshuffle in the summer. Former coach John Lambie moved into a director of football role and allowed Collins - his trusted assistant - to assume the top position. Thistle, six points behind second-from-bottom Aberdeen FC, will now seek to appoint a coach who can save them from relegation.
