Costly defeat
Davor Mladina, who replaced Predrag Stilinovic less than two months ago, has been sacked to make way for Damir Rupcic. The decision followed a 3-1 home defeat by ten-man NK Dinamo Zagreb last Sunday, which left Marsonia second from bottom in the standings. Under Stilinovic, the team took a mere seven points from six matches.
The best option
Rupcic has been promoted from his role as assistant coach, and Marsonia sporting director Tadija Brnjic said: "Damir Rupcic has been at the club a long time now and he knows the players well. We believe he is the best option."
