Losses rise
Despite selling Rio Ferdinand, Robbie Keane and Jonathan Woodgate for a total of around €72m the club's annual losses rose to €71.6m.
Birch hired
Chairman John McKenzie, who took over from Peter Ridsdale earlier this year, said that he had taken steps to restructure the club - including the hiring of former Chelsea FC chief executive Trevor Birch as chief operating officer from 1 November. It was also announced that McKenzie himself is to assume a non-executive role as chairman.
