Ancona Calcio have parted company with coach Leonardo Menichini.
Roma defeat
The Serie A newcomers lost 3-0 against AS Roma on Sunday and are bottom of the table having gained just one point from their first four matches. The club, who said the decision was taken "by mutual consent", have not yet announced the name of Menichini's replacement.
First job
Ancona are the first Serie A club to change coach this season although Bologna FC replaced Francesco Guidolin with Carlo Mazzone just before the start of the campaign. The 50-year-old Menichini was only appointed in the summer and this was his first coach's job after ten years as Mazzone's assistant at several clubs, most recently Brescia Calcio.
