Two-year contract
The 31-year-old defender became available after his contract with AC Perugia expired at the beginning of June. Milanese, who has agreed a two-year deal, will add experience to a squad currently without a coach following the dismissal of Luigi Simoni after Ancona's promotion from Serie B.
Top-flight experience
Milanese made his top-flight debut in 1993 with US Cremonese and went on to play for Torino Calcio, SSC Napoli, AC Parma and Internazionale FC before a four-year spell at the Stadio Curi with Perugia.
