News round-up: Bologna FC have signed the Argentinian winger Andrés Guglielminpietro 'Guly'.

Much to prove
The 29-year-old has joined the Rossoblù on loan from Internazionale FC for a season. "I come from a big club like Inter but I still have everything to prove at Bologna," he said. "I'm ready to help Bologna - our dream is to qualify for the [UEFA] Champions League."

Further additions
Bologna have also completed the signings of Fabio Pecchia and Texeira De Souza Juarez, both 29, from relegated Como Calcio for an undisclosed fee. Italian midfield player Pecchia, who played for the club in 2001/02, and Brazilian defender Juarez have agreed two-year deals.

Baiocco departure
Elsewhere in Serie A, Juventus FC midfield player Davide Baiocco has gone to Reggina Calcio on a year-long loan. The 28-year-old will link up with Gonzalo Martínez and Andrea Sottil, who joined the southern club from Udinese Calcio on Monday.

Anderton stays at Tottenham
Elsewhere, the former English international Darren Anderton has secured a 12-month contract extension at Premiership side Tottenham Hotspur FC. Midfield player Anderton, 31, has opted for a 12th season at White Hart Lane, despite being offered a two-year deal by Portsmouth FC.

Pierre-Fanfan joins PSG
In France, Paris Saint-Germain FC have taken AS Monaco FC defender José Pierre-Fanfan on a season's loan. Pierre-Fanfan, 27, joined Monaco from RC Lens in 2001 but has made only 29 league appearances for the principality club due to injury.

Dely Valdes goes home
Finally, the Panamanian forward Julio Dely Valdés has returned to Uruguayan side Club Nacional de Football from Spain's Málaga CF. The 35-year-old former Real Oviedo player said: "I would just like to thank everybody here for how they have treated me. I have been in Spain for six years and everyone has been fantastic."
