Sevilla get Silva service

Sevilla FC have completed the €4.7m signing of Uruguayan international Darío Silva from Málaga CF.

Silva delight
Silva has agreed a three-year deal with Sevilla, who had to buy out the remaining two years of the player's Málaga contract. He said he was "very happy" with the move.

Second Uruguayan
The 30-year-old will be joined at the Sánchez Pizjuán stadium by a second Uruguayan forward, Germán Hornos, who has joined for an undisclosed fee from the Montevideo club CA Fenix. Hornos, a 21-year-old full international, has signed a five-year deal.

Track record
Sevilla will be Silva's fourth European club. The former CA Peñarol player was previously with Cagliari Calcio in Italy before moving to Spain, first with RCD Espanyol, then with Málaga.
