Midtjylland officials travelled to Egypt to clinch a four-year deal with the 21-year-old. Midtjylland director Jens Orgaard told uefa.com: "We have got ourselves a rough diamond, who just needs a little grinding to be of tremendous value to our team."
Goalscoring form
Zidan scored nine times in the second half of last season as AB narrowly avoided relegation from the Superliga. He becomes Midtjylland's third summer signing after midfield players Michael Hansen (Esbjerg fB) and Thomas Frandsen (Viborg FF).
