Clear leader
Pécs finished the campaign eleven points clear of the pack after a 2-2 home draw against Haladás VFC on Saturday. Tamás Nagy's team lost only three times in 34 matches.
Nervous final day
Haladás will join them in the First Division after the point they took from Pecs was enough to secure second place in the table. Bük would have overhauled Lajos Détári's side with a home win against Kaposvár, but they lost 2-1 on a nervous final day.
Détári reward
Haladás have rewarded Détári, a former Hungarian international midfield player, with a new one-year contract. Pécs and Haladás will replace the relegated Dunaferr SE and Kispest Honvéd FC.
