Article body
Henk ten Cate's dream of guiding NAC Breda into Europe has been given another lift after a 2-0 home victory against FC Zwolle.
Slot double
NAC, who only returned to the Dutch top flight in 2000/01, have jumped from eleventh to eighth in the Eredivisie, and are just four points behind fifth-placed NEC Nijmegen who currently occupy the last UEFA Cup qualifying position. Tonight's victory came courtesy of two goals from Arne Slot against his former club.
Tense time
The 24-year-old midfield player, who only left Zwolle last summer, opened the scoring in the first minute before settling his team-mates' nerves with the second 12 minutes from the end. While NAC are on the up, Zwolle remain in trouble in 15th place, just one point and one place above the relegation zone.
