Members

None of the four teams chasing the second UEFA Champions League berth behind FK Austria Wien could claim victory.

With FK Austria Wien already crowned as Austrian Bundesliga champions, the sides behind them are making heavy weather of the race for the second UEFA Champions League slot.

GAK humbled
Grazer AK remain in second place, but they suffered a setback with a 2-1 defeat by lowly Schwarz-Weiss Bregenz. Emanuel Akwuegbu's own goal put GAK ahead on 25 minutes, but not long afterwards Serkan Aslan levelled the scores. And the home side were celebrating a crucial win when Axel Lawaree scored a 65th-minute penalty to take his side out of last place and ahead of VfB Admira Wacker Mödling.

Pasching held
SV Pasching are level on points with GAK but missed a chance to overtake them as they were held 0-0 by SV Ried. Four minutes before the break, when Ried's Michael Angeschmid and Helmut Riegler of Pasching were sent off by referee Manfred Schuttengruber in his last Bundesliga game.

Challengers draw
SV Austria Salzburg and SK Sturm Graz are a point behind as they drew 2-2. Salzburg led through when Christoph Jank on 24 minutes but through Charles Amoah equalised on 41 minutes. Jerzy Brzeczek restored Salzburg's lead on the stroke of half-time, but Sturm extended their unbeaten run to nine games with Heimo Pfeifenberger’s header just two minutes from the end.

Champions beaten
Austria had an off day as FC Kärnten eased their lingering relegation fears with a 3-0 away win, but Admira fell into the drop zone with a 1-0 defeat by SV Rapid Wien.
