NK Dinamo Zagreb moved six points clear at the top with a 2-0 away win while HNK Hajduk Split were held.

NK Dinamo Zagreb moved six points clear at the top of the Prva Hrvatska Nogometna Liga championship pool with a 2-0 win at NK Kamen Ingrad Velika.

Hajduk held
Second-placed HNK Hajduk Split were held to a 1-1 draw at HNK Cibalia, meaning Dinamo's victory became even more significant. Dumitru Mitu opened the scoring for the away side in the 33rd minute, scoring from a free-kick, and a penalty from Ivica Olic, awarded after a handball by Ivo Smoje three minutes from time sealed Dinamo’s victory.

Late drama
Hajdk seemed to be on course for three points at Cibalia as Milan Rapaic converted a penalty after Almir Turkovic had been fouled in the penalty area, with Cibalia defender Ninoslav Parmakovic showed a second yellow card for the tackle. However, Hajduk lost Nino Bule to a red card with six minutes remaining, and four minutes into added time, Hrvoje Vukovic fouled Elvis Coric and was dismissed. Mladen Bartolovic converted the resulting penalty to give the home side a draw.

Two for Karabogdan
In the other match in the championship group, NK Pomorac were 3-2 winners at home to NK Slaven Belupo with Ivica Karabogdan scoring twice.

Varteks recovery
In the relegation pool, NK Varteks were 3-1 winners at home to NK Zagreb despite losing Nenad Vukovic to a red card after five minutes, dismissed for a professional foul on Radomir Djalovic. However, two goals from Ivica Huljen and one from Ivan Jolic sealed the win, with Radomir Djalovic's strike the away side's only response.

Important win
Elsewhere, HNK Šibenik earned an important 3-2 win at NK Zadarokmerc, while HNK Rijeka were held to a 0-0 draw at home by NK Osijek.
