Article body
FK Leotar retained their three-point lead at the top of the Bosnia-Herzegovnian Premier League following a 4-1 victory against bottom side FK Velez on Saturday. That win, coupled with second-placed FK Zeljeznicar's 4-3 away win against FK Buducnost Banovici, means next weekend's encounter between the top two will decide the destination of the league title.
Mulina magic
Sinisa Mulina's double and goals from Zdravko Saraba and Pavle Delibasic brought Leotar's comfortable victory - but Zeljeznicar's win was considerably less straightforward. Despite Dzelaludin Muharemovic's 14th-minute opener, they found themselves trailing 2-1 by virtue of Zehrudin Kovazovic and Igor Slisko's rapid replies. Ervin Smajlagic equalised from the penalty spot on 58 minutes only for Edin Mehedovic to restore Budocnost's advantage seven minutes later. But Veljko Aleksic and Haris Beslija found the net to hand the visitors victory.
Marenzzi on the spot
In the day's other games, NK Orašje beat NK Zovko Zepce 3-1 while fifth-placed NK Zrinjski beat NK Celik 2-1 thanks to a penalty from Armando Marenzzi and Zelimir Terkes' 48th-minute strike. Elsewhere, Nusret Muslimovic's solitary 40th-minute goal handed NK Sloboda Tuzla a 1-0 victory against FK Borac Banja Luka, FK Kozara beat FK Mladost Gacko 3-1 while NK Jedinstvo made hard work of beating basement club NK Bosna 4-2.
Sarajevo still striving
On Sunday, FK Sarajevo's 2-0 win against FK Glasinac kept them in the hunt for a UEFA Cup spot while third-placed NK Široki Brijeg recorded a 2-1 away victory against NK Brotnjo, despite falling behind to Miljan Pecelj's 36th-minute opener. Goals from Vinko Cosic and Hrvoje Erceg scored either side of half-time to overturn the deficit. Meanwhile, NK Posušje beat FK Rudar Ugljevik 2-0.
