Break wanted
Dostanic has said goodbye to troubled FK Obilic, despite having a contract which runs until 2004. "I am tired," he said. "The situation in the club is not the reason. I am not afraid. The real reason is that I am very tired. After a break I will decide what to do next. It is possible that I will return to coaching next season."
Hopes dashed
Obilic ended the season in eighth place, which was not enough to earn them a place in the forthcoming UEFA Intertoto Cup. Dostanic added: "We wanted to reach the Intertoto Cup, but our poor performances at home left us far behind."
Second spell
It is not yet known who will succeed Dostanic, who was in his second spell at the club having taken over last December with the club worried about the threat of relegation. His previous reign came during the 2001/02 season.
