Nouzaret decision
Bernardet took temporary charge in October when Michel Mézy was sacked with the club bottom of Ligue 1. Montpellier have since avoided relegation, and chairman Louis Nicollin has decided to retain Montpellier old boys Bernardet and Baills plus fitness trainer Printant after former SC Bastia coach Nouzaret opted to remain with the Ivory Coast national team.
'No reason to change'
The club have one of the smallest budgets in the league, but Nicollin insisted the coaches would not have to sell players in the summer. "We will try to keep the squad together unless we can make a lucrative deal," he said. "The team has done well, there's no reason to change things." The Languedoc-based outfit, who are 15th in the table, end their season at Stade Rennais FC on Saturday.
