Key figure
The 23-year-old defender has been a key figure in Hungary's UEFA EURO 2004™ qualifying campaign and was also outstanding for his club Újpest who finished third in the Hungarian top flight. Korolovszky has agreed a two-year contract with the option of another year with Omonia and he is now the second Hungarian player in Cyprus after AEL Limassol FC signed Jozsef Sebok.
Tsiakklis on the move
Korolovszky will be joined at Omonia by the 29-year-old Cypriot midfield player Savvas Tsiakklis who has moved from rivals Olympiakos Nicosia FC on a two-year contract.
European adventure ahead
Omonia won their 19th title after a thrilling finale which saw three teams vying for first place on the last day of the season. Toni Savevski's men will also be competing in the UEFA Champions League qualifiers this summer for only the second time in their history.
