FK Leotar edged ahead of NK Zeljeznicar at the top of the Bosnia-Herzegovnian Premier League with a narrow 1-0 away win at NK Jedinstvo.

Penalty equaliser
Zeljeznicar were held to a 1-1 draw against local rivals FK Sarajevo which allowed Leotar to open up a one-point lead at the head of the standings. Ervin Smajlovic opened the scoring for Zeljeznicar from the penalty spot in the 40th minute, only for third-placed Sarajevo to draw level ten minutes in the second half through Emir Obuća’s.

Narrow win
Meanwhile, Pavle Delibašic’s 26th-minute goal proved enough for Leotar at Jedinstvo, while fourth-placed NK Široki Brijeg were surprisingly defeated 2-0 at FK Kozara, with Goran Djordjević and Dragan Benić on target.

Comfortable margin
Džemal Tabakovic scored two goals in five first-half minutes as FK Celik were 4-0 winners at home to bottom side FK Bosna 4-0, with Daglas Numanovic and Senad Brkic completing the victory.

Single-goal victories
Ivo Pelic gave NK Orašje a 1-0 win against FK Buducnost Banovici and NK Zepce defeated FK Mladost Gacko by the same scoreline.

Three points for Zrinjski
Elsewhere, NK Zrinjski won 2-0 against FK Borac Banja Luka, NK Brotnjo were 3-0 winners against struggling FK Velez, FK Sloboda Tuzla earned a 1-0 victory against NK Posušje and FK Glasinac won 3-1 against FK Rudar Ugljevik.
