Cup final
Škoro stood down after a 1-0 Prva savezna liga loss to FK Vojvodina on Saturday left Sartid one place above the relegation zone. However, Kikovic takes over a side which will contest the Serbo-Montenegrin Cup final on 28 May against FK Crvena Zvezda.
Second spell
Kikovic is returning for a second spell with the Smederevo-based club, having taking charge in the 1999/00 season when Sartid only avoiding relegation after FK Novi Sad, who would have been promoted from the second division, failed to obtain a top-flight playing licence.
'In a crisis'
"I am glad I have been given this second chance to show my qualities as a coach," said Kikovic. "The team are obviously in a crisis, but I am convinced that we have enough strength to survive in the top division. Not many clubs in the country have players like our captain, Goran Bogdanović, or Boris Vasković, Vladimir Mudrinić, Nenad Mirosavljević and Dragan Žižić. I believe in them."
