Rangers remain on treble course

Members

Rangers FC can still complete the domestic treble after reaching the Scottish Cup semi-finals.

Motherwell next
The Scottish Premier League leaders and League Cup winners opened the scoring on three minutes thanks to a neat finish from Danish international Peter Løvenkrands. Captain Barry Ferguson's brilliant diving header for his 18th goal of the season then doubled the advantage, before Mikel Arteta's neat chip in the 54th minute completed the scoring and ensured a semi-final meeting with Motherwell FC on 19 April.

Dundee win in extra time
Inverness Caledonian Thistle FC - conquerors of Celtic FC in the quarter-finals - will face Dundee FC on the following day at Hampden Park after the Dark Blues overcame Falkirk FC. Fabian Caballero scored for Dundee before Stuart Taylor's goal took the match into extra time, but goals from Mark Burchill and a double from Steve Lovell gave Jim Duffy's Premier League side the win. Mark Kerr was sent off for the defeated First Division outfit.
