Jaroslav Rybár has become the third coach this season to be dismissed by MŠK Zilina.
Article body
Jaroslav Rybár has become the latest coach to be dismissed by defending Slovakian champions MŠK Zilina. The club have announced former FC Plastika Nitra manager Milan Lešický as his replacement.
Short reign
Although Zilina lie behind only Slovakian Super League leaders ŠK Slovan Bratislava in the standings, the board were unhappy with Rybár, who took over during the winter break and was in charge for just nine games. The deciding factor was that he was unable to prevent a 4-1 Cup defeat to Slovan in midweek.
Experienced career
Lešický, 58, left FC Plastika Nitra 12 years ago and was subsequently named coach of the Slovakian Under-21 side. He then moved to Japan where he spent four years as a coach and adviser.
Coaching problems
Lešický becomes Zilina's fourth coach of the season, following the earlier dismissals of Leo Kalvoda and Frantisek Komoacký. He has signed a one-year contract.
