Groin groan for Dudas

Members

R. Charleroi SC goalkeeper Istvan Dudas will be out for up to six weeks with yet another groin injury.

R. Charleroi SC goalkeeper Istvan Dudas will be out of action for between four and six week after pulling a groin muscle.

Injury-plagued campaign
It has been a frustrating campaign for Dudas thus far. "It is [my] third serious groin injury this season," he said. "I am now out for a long time again. It is the first time in my career that I have been injured so often. The doctors do not understand what's going on and I am now heading for an analysis of my feet and hip. It is hard for me to be injured so often, because the club has [had] so many bad results this year and I just want to help."

European experience
The 29-year-old goalkeeper left Serbo-Montenegrin side FK Vojvodina in 1993, and played for a number of clubs around Europe before joining Charleroi from Spanish side U.E. Lleida. Charleroi are currently second from bottom in the standings, having slipped to a 2-0 defeat at RSC Anderlecht on Sunday. They are at home to R. AEC Mons this weekend.
