Marsa FC ran out convincing 5-0 winners against bottom club Mosta FC in the only midweek match.

Season's best
In a match postponed from last Saturday due to a waterlogged pitch, Anthony Eviparker scored one goal and created two others as the visitors recorded their best victory of the campaign.

New faces
Marsa, who had made five changes from the team beaten 5-0 by Sliema Wanderers FC in their previous outing, were in control from the moment Ryan Newell put through his own net on 20 minutes.

Star man
And after goalkeeper Simon Agius contributed a second own goal five minutes into the second half, Eviparker took charge of proceedings. The Nigerian laid on goals for Malcolm Tirchett and Kenneth Abela which sandwiched his own effort on 74 minutes. The win lifted Marsa into eighth place, six points above their hosts.
