Article summary
Kispest Honvéd FC have named Tibor Óze as their new coach as the former Hungarian champions fight relegation.
Article body
The Hungarian First Division's bottom club, Kispest Honvéd FC, have confirmed the appointment of Tibor Óze as their new coach.
Former positions
The 51-year-old's most recent post was that of technical director at second division Diósgyori VTK, though he has formerly coached Vasas SC and Nyíregyházi FC in Hungary's top flight.
Interim appointments
Óze has signed a contract to the end of the season and replaces the interim duo of Lajos Szurgent and Sándor Gujdár, who were appointed until the winter break following the sacking of Romanian Ioan Patrascu in November.
Thirteen titles
Óze will be assisted by the former Kispest player Kálmán Kovács. The duo take over a team currently bottom of the 12-team division, but only two points off tenth place, which would guarantee the 13-times champions a continued place among the Hungarian élite next season.
