Contofalský has become the fourth former Bohemians player to follow Czech coach Petrzela and his assistant, Vladimír Borovicka, to Russia, signing a three-year deal. Radek Sírl, Pavel Mareš and Martin Horák had already made the move from the 1. liga.
Czech honour
The 24-year-old Contofalský has won three caps for Slovakia and was voted the best non-Czech player in the league in 2002. Bohemians, who lie at the bottom of the table, are thought to have recouped a €300,000 fee from the transfer.
