Haim Revivo has ended weeks of speculation concerning his future after finally signing a two-and-a-half-year contract with Galatasaray SK.
Deal completed
Revivo officially became a free agent last week after his contract with Fenerbahçe SK was cancelled. It was rumoured that the Israeli international might move either to Spain or Germany, but on Sunday he signed for the Istanbul giants.
Revivo comments
After signing the contract in front of the media, Revivo said: "Staying in Turkey and Istanbul was very important for me. Starting from today I will do my best for Galatasaray together with my team-mates."
Several offers
Revivo confirmed that he had received several offers from other European clubs but added that Galatasaray's interest had convinced him to stay in Turkey. "It's a real pleasure to be with this club," he said.
Suat signing
Meanwhile, Galatasaray have also signed Turkish Under-21 defender Suat Usta from PSV Eindhoven on a three-and-a-half-year contract. Galatasaray director of football Burak Elmas said: "He will be a big success here."
