Kitanovski in Tikves return

Members

F.Y.R. Macedonian side FK Tikves have named Blagoje Kitanovski as their new coach.

Iliev replaced
Kitanovski replaces caretaker coach Lazar Iliev, who took the helm for the last five matches before the winter break after Perica Gruevski left the club. "I had contact [with the club] before the new year and have decided to return," said Kitanovski, who was in charge of Tikves two years ago. "Eleven players are still here from the period when I led the side, so I can say that I know the team."

Reinforcements needed
Kitanovski formerly led Macedonia's Under-21 side. His last job as a club coach was with FK Pelister. Tikves lie seventh in the table with 24 points, 12 behind leaders FK Belasica GC but only four behind third-placed FK Sileks. "With a good series of results we can get back among the leading teams, because the gap is not so big," Kitanovski said. "However we need some reinforcements in defence."
