Back in charge
Triaud handed over the day-to-day running of the French Ligue 1 club to Imbault last June after six years in the post to concentrate on his wine business. However, he has "made himself completely available" again to Bordeaux according to the team's owner, Nicolas de Tavernost.
Disappointing season
Imbault presided over a disappointing first half of the season, with Bordeaux lying 12th in the table and knocked out of the UEFA Cup in the third round by Belgian opponents RSC Anderlecht. "His job is done," Tavernost said, adding that: "Either Jean-Louis Triaud was going to leave, with Dominique Imbault taking complete control of the club, or it was going to be the other way round."
