Four arrivals
Académica, who are 15th in the division, just two points clear of bottom club CD Santa Clara, have now acquired four players in the transfer window following the arrivals last week of Santa Clara forward Vítor Vieira and defender Marcos António, also on loan from Porto.
Aim for goalkeeper
Hilário, who began his senior career with Académica before joining Associação Naval 1. de Maio, said: "I have come to help Académica reach their goal of avoiding relegation, and I hope to be a success here until the end of the season."
Porto ambition
Meanwhile, Manuel José, who has left Porto's B team to join the Briosa club, said: "I hope to make my debut in the Super Liga and help Académica, who are the ideal club for me to show what I am worth. After that, my ambition is to return to Porto." Winger Nuno Miranda and central defender Dino have been released by Académica to make way for the new arrivals.
