Article body
OGC Nice moved two points clear at the top of Ligue 1 in France tonight after a 3-0 home win against AC Ajaccio at the Du Ray stadium.
Everson opener
Nice have not lost at home since the opening game of the season and no side has scored against them at the Du Ray since 23 August - and they certainly looked full of confidence from the start of the game. Brazilian midfield player Everson gave the southern club the lead after 25 minutes when his free-kick took a deflection and flew into the net off a post.
Diawara goal
Forward Serge Ayeli doubled the advantage ten minutes later with his first strike of the season after good work by Kaba Diawara. Laurent Gagnier then set up Diawara for his eighth goal of the season in the 82nd minute as Nice wrapped up another three points.

Lyon can regain leadership
The victory sees Nice move on to 33 points, two ahead of Olympique Lyonnais who can regain the leadership of the division if they beat Paris Saint-Germain FC tomorrow night. Ajaccio, who have now lost four matches in a row, stay 16th with 17 points from 17 games.
