Mrdja makes breakthrough
In a game rearranged from round three, it took the hosts until the second half to make the breakthrough when Dragan Mrdja scored from close range after 62 minutes. Nine minutes later Bosko Jankovic played a neat one-two with Mrdja before striking the second.
Winter break looms
The win takes Zvezda up to third place in the table, four points behind second-placed FK Zeleznik, on 31 points from 16 matches. The league stops for the winter break on 7 December and resumes on 26 February.
