FK Partizan retained their six-point lead at the top of the Yugoslav First League thanks to a 3-1 defeat of FK Zeta at the weekend.

Lightening reactions
Zvonimir Vukic reacted quickest after a free-kick to open the scoring on six minutes, adding the second eleven minutes later after dribbling past a clutch of defenders. He completed his hat-trick nine minutes from time from the penalty spot, Milanko Raskovic snatching a late consolation.

Matijasevic winner
Second-placed FK Zeleznik kept up the pressure with a 2-1 win over FK Sutjeska, Branko Radovanovic breaking the deadlock at the start of the second half before Boris Koprivica produced a fine equaliser. An 81st-minute penalty from Vladimir Matijasevic, however, settled the encounter and earned his side three precious points.

OFK undone
Third-placed OFK Beograd went down 2-0 to a determined FK Vojvodina side, Jovan Tanasijevic guiding his side to an early lead and Zdravko Drincic doubling it on 56 minutes. FK Crvena Zvezda, meanwhile, moved within three points of OFK, with a game in hand after a 3-0 home win over FK Hajduk Kula.

Sartid on song
Goals from Nenad Mirosavljevic and a Milorad Zecevic double helped FK Sartid see off FK Radnicki Nis in a 3-1 victory while Predrag Ilic grabbed an 86th-minute leveller for FK Rudar at home to FK Obilic after Goran Djordjevic had put his side ahead.

Impressive Zemun
First-half strikes gave FK Zemun a 3-0 victory at home to FK Javor, who failed to put up any challenge but FK Rad dropped to 15th as FK Cukaricki leapfrogged them in the standings with a 3-0 triumph. FK Radnicki Obrenovac beat lowly FK Mogren 1-0.
