New boys
Midfield player Dmitri Likhtarovich, 24, the 2002 player of the year in Belarus, Pavel Shmigero and Artem Kontsevoy, have signed on the dotted line.
Youth star
Shmigero, 20, is another midfield player who joined BATE from FC Torpedo-MAZ Minsk after impressing scouts while striker Kontsevoy, 19, has scored 15 goals in the past two seasons and is an Under-21 international.
Woeful season
Spartak lost every one of their games in the UEFA Champions League this season and finished third in the Premier-Liga, conceding the title to FC Lokomotiv Moskva.
