The 27-year-old Danish international, who represented his country at the 2002 FIFA World Cup finals, had been linked with a move to Internazionale FC but has decided to stay at the Friuli stadium until 2005. His existing contract had been due to run out next summer.
Attacking instincts
Jørgensen has been with Udinese since 1997, after joining them from AGF Århus. He has a good goalscoring record, and has found the net three times in 14 league games so far this season.
