Yugoslavia round-up: Partizan back on top

FK Partizan won to return to the top of the Yugoslav First League as OFK Beograd lost to FK Crvena Zvezda.

Iliev opener
The defending champions Partizan went ahead in the 27th minute through Ivica Iliev and Damir Cakar's 35th-minute strike gave the hosts a commanding two-goal lead at half-time. Rudar defender Zelico Culafic put the ball into his own net on the hour mark to make it 3-0 and Cakar struck again four minutes from time to seal the win.

OFK drop to third
OFK Beograd led the table going into their tough match against FK Crvena Zvezda, but a 2-1 reverse dropped them down to third position. Goals from Dragan Mladenovic in the 17th minute and striker Mihailo Pjanovic in the 83rd put Crvena Zvezda 2-0 ahead and the lead was not threatened seriously until Djordje Ivelja hit a last-minute consolation for OFK.

Surprising win
FK Zemun recorded a surprising 2-1 win over FK Vojvodina thanks to strikes from Ilija Stolica and Igor Mandic. Marko Jovanovic was on target for Vojvodina, who drop to sixth. FK Obilic lifted themselves to fourth after claiming a 2-0 success at  FK Mogren, the bottom club, who are still without a win in 12 matches.

Other games
Elsewhere, FK Sartid and FK Zeta shared the points in a goalless draw, FK Rad and FK Radnicki Niš drew 1-1, the same score as FK Sutjeska's meeting with FK Radnicki Obrenovac.

Zeleznik win
On Tuesday, FK Zeleznik recorded a 3-1 home victory over FK Javor Ivanjica, Zoran Djuraskovic scoring twice, while FK Cukaricki eased their relegation worries with a narrow 1-0 home win over FK Hajduk Kula. Aleksandar Nedovic striking the only goal of the game with a neat volley after 15 minutes.
