FK Partizan stayed top of the league at the weekend thanks to a 2-1 defeat of FK Rad.

FK Partizan stayed top of the Yugoslav First League at the weekend thanks to a 2-1 defeat of FK Rad.

Partizan keep it together
Another solid Partizan win was cemented by strikes in either half by Sasa Ilic and Andrija Delibasic, while OFK Beograd beat FK Mogren 1-0 when Miljan Mrdakovic was on target on 22 minutes at the Omladinski stadium to clinch all three points.

Radulovic to the rescue
A 1-1 draw with FK Zeta was enough for FK Zeleznik to stay third despite going behind to a Slobodan Markovic goal on 19 minutes. Milan Radulovic struck on 77 minutes to salvage a point for the visitors.

Pjanovic makes sure
FK Crvena Zvezda, who did well to only lose 1-0 against S.S. Lazio in Rome in the second round of the UEFA Cup on Thursday, defeated FK Vojvodina 2-0 away. Branko Boskovic struck the opner on 17 minutes and Mihajlo Pjanovic ratified the result when he slammed in late on.

Rare victory
FK Radnicki Obrenovac picked up only their second win of the season with a 2-0 home defeat of penultimate-placed FK Radnicki Nis, while FK Javor moved tenth thanks with a 1-0 defeat of FK Cukaricki. The matches between FK Hajduk Kula and FK Sutjeska, and FK Rudar Pljevlja and FK Zemun both ended goalless.
