Penalty opener
Christian Brand gave Luzern a 33rd-minute lead from the penalty spot and Basel, who reached the UEFA Champions League second stage in mid-week after a 3-3 draw with Liverpool FC, had to wait until the 83rd minute to level through Julio Hernán Rossi.
Grasshoppers held
There were three goals in four minutes as surprise-package FC Thun held high-flying Grasshopper-Club to a 2-2 draw. Eduardo fired the visitors into the lead on nine minutes and Christoph Sycher buried the second eleven minutes later. Patrick Bauman and Milaim Rama were on target for the home side on 23 and 25 minutes.
Berisha double
BSC Young Boys secured their second away victory on the bounce by overcoming SR Delémont 4-2, with Johan Berisha twice in the goals as Artur Petrosyan and Avraham Tikva were also on target.
Late goals
Struggling FC Aarau picked up a welcome three points at FC Zürich, winning 2-1 thanks to late goals from Patrick de Napoli and Frederic Chassot. Sergio Jose Bastida put the home side ahead on 32 minutes but De Napoli equalised in the 77th minute before Chassot struck late to take the points.
Gallen loss
Aarau, however, are still in trouble, as they remain two points adrift of FC St Gallen, who lost 2-0 to Neuchate Xamax FC. De Fabinho's second-half strike earned FC Wil 1900 a share of the spoils at Servette FC, who led through Alexander Frei's eleventh-minute strike.
