Josetxo missed Sunday's home defeat by RC Recreativo de Huelva after suffering the injury in training last week, and the club revealed the extent of the problem in a statement yesterday. "Scans have confirmed that the player has a tear in his left thigh," it said.
Bottoming out
The 1-0 reverse against Recreativo left the Pamplona club, who narrowly avoided relegation last term, bottom of the Primera División with one win from eight games. Josetxo, 25, has made four first-team appearances this season.
