Como Calcio have sacked Loris Dominissini and appointed the experienced Eugenio Fascetti as their new coach.
Seventh defeat
Dominissini was fired in the wake of yesterday's 3-0 defeat against AC Perugia, newly promoted Como's seventh defeat in eleven games. He becomes the third managerial casualty of the 2002/03 Serie A season, following Giancarlo Camolese at Torino Calcio and Bortolo Mutti at Reggina Calcio.
Fascetti bring experience
The defeat was Como's fifth in a row, leaving them bottom of the table, winless and with just four points from eleven matches. The new man at the helm, 63-year-old Fascetti, has coached US Lecce, S.S. Lazio, Avellino Calcio, Torino Calcio, Hellas-Verona FC, AS Lucchese and AS Bari during his long career.
