Sint-Truiden were behind after 26 minutes to Koen De Vleeschauwer's long-range strike. The home side found an equaliser in the 65th minute, Desire Mbonabucya levelling after being played in by Danny Boffin. Sint-Truiden then took the lead for the first time in the match when Nicky Hayen struck a powerful shot.
Goalkeeper fumble
Yet a late error gave the visitors a share of the points. Sint-Truiden goalkeeper Dusan Belic, on as a 76th minute substitute for Marcos Pereira, fumbled the ball and allowed Claeys to fire in.
