NK Olimpija Ljubljana opened up a three-point gap after NK Koper were beaten at home by NK Maribor.

NK Olimpija Ljubljana opened up a three-point gap at the top of the Slovenian first division after NK Koper suffered their first home defeat of the season.

No time for equaliser
Koper were beaten 2-1 by NK Maribor, the visitors' goals coming on 34 and 70 minutes from Ermin Rakovic and Suad Filekovic. Oliver Bogatinov pulled one back four minutes from the end for Koper, but there was no time for an equaliser.

Puc double
Olimpija took full advantage with a 3-1 win against bottom club NK Mura. Blaz Puc's double on 30 and 38 minutes gave Olimpija control, with Vladimir Kokol on target in the second half.

Korotan on form
NK Korotan overcamde NK Šmartno 3-0 to remain in touch with the leading pack. Goran Jolic gave Korotan the lead in the 26th minute, with Slavko Komar adding a second shortly after half time and Niko Podvinski completing the scoring in the final seconds.

Rudar held
Elsewhere, NK Rudar Velenje drew 1-1 with NK Gorica, NK Primorje beat NK Dravograd 1-0 and NK Publikum secured a 3-1 victory against NK Ljubljana.
