Shakhtior boosted their slim championship hopes in Soligorsk, with Roman Trepachkin hitting the decisive goal on 14 minutes.

The chasing pack
FC BATE Borsiov and FC Torpedo-MAZ Minsk, however, are now within two points from Neman, as both sides clinched away victories. BATE beat FC Lokomotiv-96 Vitebsk, who shocked Yuri Puntus`s men with an early goal from Andrei Vasilchuk on three minutes.

Elsewhere, FC Gomel beat FC Dnepr-Transmash Mogilev 3-1, FC Belshina Bobruisk overcame FC Zvezda-VA-BGU Minsk 3-2, FC Dinamo Brest defeated FC Molodechno-2000 3-1 and FC Slavia Mozyr sneaked a 2-1 victory over FC Torpedo Zhodino.
