France round-up: Dream derby for Ajaccio

AC Ajaccio claimed a dramatic victory in their first Corsican derby since promotion to the French Ligue 1, beating SC Bastia 2-1.

In the teams' first league meeting for nearly 30 years, Bastia took a 27th-minute lead through striker Lilian Laslandes.

Faderne winner
But nine minutes later Bruno Rodriguez's free-kick levelled the scores, and with added time fast approaching at the end of the game, substitute David Faderne shot home from 20 metres to stun Ajaccio's hosts. The victorious visitors are up to 12th place, three ahead of Bastia.
