Yugoslav first division leaders FK Partizan maintained their 100 per cent record with a superb 6-2 victory against FK Cukaricki.
Early lead
Danko Lazovic scored a goal for in the opening seconds for Partizan and on 15 minutes it was 2-0 tthrough Damir Cakar. Ivica Iliev then scored either side of half-time, with captain Sasa Ilic and Andrija Delibasic making it six. Cukaricki's consolations came from Nenad Djukanovic and Djordje Cetkovic.
Comfortable for Zeleznik
FK Zeleznik kept up their good start to the season with a fine 3-1 away victory at sixth-placed FK Zemun. Zeleznik were on the attack from the off and Dejan Radjenovic scored the first goal in the sixth minute from the penalty spot. He was followed by Dragan Markovic and Bulgarian international Goce Sopov, who both registered within five second-half minutes either side of the hour.
Vojvodina cruise
Zeleznik lie two points ahead of fourth-and fifth-placed teams, FK Vojvodina and FK Obilic, who experienced contrasting fortunes. Vojvodina cruised to a 3-0 home triumph over second-bottom FK Radnicki Niš, with two first-half goals from Nikola Trajkovic sandwiching Marko Jovanovic's 33th-minute strike.
Sweet win for Kula
Meanwhile FK Obilic suffered a surprise 1-0 home loss to FK Hajduk Kula. The visitors had not won at Obilic for ten years, but that all changed thans to Miljan Mestar's 47th-minute solo goal on the counter-attack.
Crvena Zvezda held
FK Sartid remain in fifth after a 1-1 draw with FK Crvena Zvezda, still searching for their first win, while strugglers FK Mogren and FK Rad also shared a goal apiece. Bottom-placed FK Rudar Pljevlja were unlucky to go down 3-2 at home to FK Sutjeska, OFK Beograd and FK Radnicki Obrenovac shared the spoils 2-2, and FK Zeta beat FK Javor Ivanjica 1-0.
