Boavista FC are still searching for their first win of the season after being beaten 1-0 at home by UEFA Cup rivals FC Porto.
Disappointing start
Costinha scored the only goal of the game in the 44th minute to give the visitors all three points at Bessa stadium. Boavista who drew 1-1 in the opening game against Vitória Setubal have had a disappointing start to the season. They were eliminated by AJ Auxerre from the UEFA Champions League at the third qualifying round stage but will join Porto in the UEFA Cup.
